The MachinePolitick Studio
Apr5
My posting has been light lately because I have been busy preparing my home for a fund raising event. On April 17, from 1-4:30 I will be hosting a viewing of the Tea Party Documentary with the help of my local FairTax coordinator. I will have art and merchandise for sale to raise money for my trip to Pennsylvania in June for the launch of the Patriot Pony Project. This event is also intended to be a networking opportunity for all attendees, with information provided to help activists promote Conservative principles more effectively.
For those of you in the Atlanta area, this is an opportunity to view my work in person. Because the event is in my home, there will be no high pressure gallery twerp trying to regale you with their vast artistic knowledge, or lack thereof. You will be able to view the work as it would look in your home, with a true sense of scale and lighting rather than the vast, washed out environment of a gallery. Smaller merchandise such as hand made greeting cards, posters and jewelry will also be available for purchase. While I will gladly accept donations, I would prefer that you purchase something tangible to remind you of the day you helped kickstart the Conservative revolution in the arts.
My husband and author, Jay, will be available at 4pm to sign copies of his book The Light of Day for those of you who own a copy. It is available at Amazon and at the Barnes and Noble on Webb Ginn House Road in Snellville.
Here are some photos of the place where all my creative projects come to life. I hope to meet you in person on the 17th.

I just want to take a minute this evening to share some drawings with you. They were sent to me recently by a man in Texas who is as concerned about America as I am. Here is a link to his page called, Our American Freedom. Please pass it on.

MachinePolitick donation: The World According to Alice, opening bid $65 ***
I recently got accepted into an art show sponsored by Art Papers. I linked to their site a few days ago. This is the piece they accepted, although to be fair, I did not send them the info on the painting’s meaning. I am looking forward to the opportunity to infiltrate the smarmy Liberal enclave of the Atlanta Art commu…nity. The irony of my work hanging in one of the city’s more popular galleries is very significant for me. Those of you who don’t know me are unaware of the reaction I get regarding my work from the art community. I have countless rejection letters talking about how good my work is, but the underlying philosophy being unsupportable. It’s funny how readily they accept something when they don’t know what it means.
Thanks again, to my dear friend Alvaro Alvillar for getting me in the show. We will be the Conservative counter culture in one of the biggest art events in Atlanta for 2010.***

‘Liberty for a New Generation’
Dec13
I was honored to participate in A Patriot’s Christmas on Friday in Atlanta. The event was held at the Georgia World Congress Center downtown with the main feature of the event being a screening of The Tea Party Movie. A local vocalist, Lauren St. Jane, sang Christmas songs at the beginning of the event while I painted a Liberty on stage next to her. The painting was raffled at the end of the night to raise money for Operation Home Front and Americans For Prosperity.
I was able to display some of my work at the event and had many encouraging conversations with the patrons. The passion and support that was shown for my work and our efforts here at Liberatchik were extremely encouraging. I hope this was the first of many opportunities to spread the message of Liberty through my work and writings. The American people desperately need something positive to encourage them to stand their ground against the growth of government and loss of personal liberties. I genuinely hope that my work and that of those who are helping me plan a Liberty Art Tour will serve as inspiration to the nation at large. It is my goal to manufacture a modern image of Liberty that encompasses my passion for individual freedom over state tyranny in a modern style that is appealing and iconographic.
The entire painting was completed for the event on Friday. I was able to get a few pictures before I handed ‘Liberty for a New Generation’ over to her new owners. Jack, who is in the film, and his wife were the lucky ticket holders and had many kind words to say about my work. Here are my photos from the event:

Announcing Online Auction of Drawing from 9/12 March on Washington
Oct30
I have donated a drawing to the Tea Party Patriots for a fund raising auction. The framed piece of art will be available through an online auction from November 5, 2009 – November 15, 2009. All money raised will be put toward the organization and materials needed to prepare for the April 15th Tax Day Tea Party. The announcement will be made on November 2, 2009. I have been invited to attend the event at the Atlanta Capitol as a guest, to present the drawing on stage for the announcement of the online auction.
For those of you who are new to the site, I have been attending these events since the first one on a rainy day in February of this year. My most recent protest was at the Capitol in DC on 9/12. In between, I have been to my Senators’ offices, written countless emails and letters, volunteered at Fair Tax booths and Libertarian Party events. I am dedicated to restoration of America to a Constitutional Republic, with limitations on the power of government and a return to rule of law; not mob rule in the form of ‘democracy’ and fear-mongering.
My art is dedicated to these concepts and the promotion of Liberty, individualism, and patriotism. For these reasons, I have been attending events, networking with fellow citizens, creating political art, and building a community for like-minded artists. Below, you will find an image of the drawing I will be presenting on Monday. I hope that you will be able to attend the event. If not, send me a note, and I will get you the link for the online auction.
Thanks to the many people who have been there for me from the start, as well as the many wonderful people I have met on my journey. You are all invaluable for your support and encouragement, as well as inspiration. I would most like to thank my husband who has been by my side for 14 years, has helped me build this site and find the time and energy to create the art and put my thoughts together; and more importantly, for being there when I need him. Last and most importantly, I’d like to thank my son who loves me no matter what.

This drawing is based on sketches and photos from the 9/12 March on Washington.
Some New Drawings
Jul2
I am working on a series of drawings for a show with my friend Alvaro. Hopefully we will be on display somewhere in Atlanta by the end of the year.
These drawings are from my Liberty Series and the photos were taken by Alvaro. We try to get together a few times a month to talk politics and art and inspire/push one another to get more art out into the world.
Alvaro has work going on display at MOCA GA soon. More details to come.
